Fortuna X14.3 - Kunstverein Ludwigshafen
Plate juggling machines, walking rotary dryers or analogue popcorn production - in focus of my interdisciplinary artistic research with an emphasis on sculpture is often the technically constructed object in its relationship to people.

This playful and poetic exploration of machine myths, functionality and production is realized in large steel sculptures or objects. They are often absurd yet functioning devices that refer to the high-tech props of our everyday lives.

Since my last residency in 2022, I have been experimenting in workshop and studio away from the construction of complex, moving machine installations towards brittle, heavy objects whose properties are altered or negated by exchanging materials. A functional refusal is still subject in my works, which continue to find their expression in video, photography, drawing, object or installation.
